Congrats to Tamara Mataya and her novel, The Best Laid Plans! Tamara’s debut novel hit our inbox and within moments, we knew she’d written an amazing book.
After her agent submitted the manuscript in a whirlwind of activity, Tamara decided to publish The Best Laid Plans with Swoon Romance. It released in November and immediately hit Amazon’s Best Sellers Rank in several categories.
Tamara is currently a librarian; she lurked there for so long recommending books to patrons and shushing people, that she suspects they only hired her so it would be less creepy. Now she’s armed with a name tag and a thin veneer of credibility. She’s also a musician with synaesthesia – which isn’t an issue until someone plays a wrong note, which makes her want to squirm inside out. It makes for a good live show.
5 Stars! This book has all the hotness I would expect from judging its cover. Great debut from Tamara Mataya, and I look forward to reading many more. The heroine of this one, Jayne, really grabbed my attention, and I laughed at the way Malcolm tried to tame her. Great book!
