Someone at the Alliance is going to college! That’s right. Managing partner Simon Cleveland is in the final stages of earning his Ph.D. at Nova Southeastern University. The topic for his dissertation is knowledge-sharing in organizations using technology.
He started in August 2011, and here are some impressive numbers from our editors regarding this one student:
– 30 papers written for conferences and journals
– over 1,000 pages written, read, revised, and edited
– approximately a quarter of a million words typed into phrases that focus on locus of control, role conflict, role ambiguity, knowledge contribution, etc…
So while we enjoy a fine piece of fiction, a sizzling romance, or a cozy mystery, we also have editors eager to read nonfiction and academic works.
